This comprehensive session is for all new patients, whether you're curious about acupuncture, herbal medicine, or both. Think of this as a deep dive into your overall well-being! We'll take the time to understand your complete health history, lifestyle, and current concerns using the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine. This includes a thorough review of your body's systems, and for those experiencing pain or musculoskeletal issues, we may also include a gentle, basic assessment of your movement and comfort levels to get a clearer picture of what's happening.

Using techniques like pulse and tongue diagnosis, alongside your detailed history, and orthopedic exams, we'll identify your unique patterns of imbalance. This in-depth assessment allows us to create a clear and personalized care plan tailored for your long-term well-being.

By the end of this session, you'll leave with a clear recommendation for one of three care paths:

Acupuncture-Focused Plan: Primarily utilizing acupuncture treatments to address your specific needs.
Herbal-Focused Plan: Utilizing custom herbal formulas as the primary mode of treatment.
Combination Plan: Integrating both acupuncture and herbal medicine for a holistic approach.
